Nice update

Updated our old rusty lights. These stand out nicely and were easy to install.

Very Nice Light

I wanted lights to match my door locks and handles and these are perfect. They are the perfect size, very attractive and easy to install. They did not come with screws to attach the bracket to the wall box but I just used my old ones. they really should include 2 screws per light for that bracket. They do come with bulbs so that was great because many do not. Well made and would definitely recommend these.

Not metal but paint!

Lowe's photo shows aged or antiqued metal. What I received is a badly painted light fixture with brown paint and some painted gold stripes.

Elegant and Perfect

We needed two outdoor wall sconces to go in a tight area next to a client's front door. These were perfect and are also beautiful fixtures.

Good light, No problems

Seems like a good light. Installation was easy, it had all the parts I needed in the box. Be sure to cover your wrench with tape or you'll scrape off the paint.

Nice Lights

It was a little smaller than expected. My fault, the dimensions were clearly stated but we decided they were fine. Just be aware the 11.25 inches is from the top of the hook to the bottom of the lense.

door lighting

Our codes require closed bottoms for outdoor lighting. We will put up temporary to pass code. You may want to look at more designs which have closed bottoms. Love the beveled glass for more interest. have not installed it but it looks good and seems to be well made. Also, have the large ones to use on both sides of the garage door.

Jamestown Light

I ordered two of these fixtures for my front porch. Although I measured and remeasured my existing fixtures, I was still a little hesitant about the height. The fixtures themselves are beautiful and seemed very well-made. However, with a low hanging porch roof, these lights were just too long. I hated returning them because they were lovely .

Looks great, good price, lightweight construction

This outdoor light looks very good and adds a nice touch to my home's exterior. I wanted two of these and they are not in prominent view. So, I was looking for something that would not be a budget-breaker. These lights fit both of those requirements. I am concerned about durability...only time will tell. Given that these were of Asian manufacture and were quite well-priced, I did not expect stellar construction. Metal is thin and easily bent. The most disappointing part is how unsubstantial the mounting screws are. They appear to be #6 screws with *tiny* acorn nuts. I added stainless steel washers and heftier acorn nuts that fit the screws and things seem to secured. Overall, I would buy these again because they meet my main needs.

Perfect for sidelights!

We installed these on either side of our new white door surround. The surround is not very wide and these were the perfect size and fit. The black lights on the white surround really standout and look beautiful. The beveled glass and hook at the top of the light are very nice features. Some of the lights were kind of plain, but this looks very elegant. Great price and quality.

Better Then Expected

We purchased two of the Jamestown 2 Light Outdoor Wall Lights in black and three of the 1 Light Outdoor Wall Lanterns for our home. We used the 2 Light fixtures on either side of our garage door and the additional height of the fixtures works well next to the larger door. The 1 Light fixtures were installed next to three exterior doors. The lights themselves have a historic feel to them, but the clean lines work well with the other contemporary features of our home. The glass panels have a nice beveled edge, which was unexpected. Overall, the fixtures are exactaly what we expected and the price was very reasonable.

A little disappointed

The top molded piece on this model is crooked. The handle piece is plastic. I had already purchased the larger version which have no problems. I didn't have time to reorder before my electrician installed them. My advice is to give yourself enough time to return them if there is an issue.
