Confusing instructions
I love the look of the lights - I'll be hanging 6. My only complaint is the instructions are a bit confusing and difficult to follow. Specifically, the mounting screws which attach to the mounting plate and hold the cover and light to the mounting strap. They are longer than needed but no clear instructions on what to do about that or how to adjust. And I wonder, if its a fixed distance, why are the screws to long? Other than that, the next five will be cake to install.
Great light BUT…
I got two of these for the kitchen. It’s a great looking light. However, when I went to install the second one, the glass piece did not fit over the light fixture. I tried switching the glass with the first one and it still does not fit. (The first one fits both glasses.) I tried sanding down the paint on it but it still would not fit. It is so close but I am afraid if I force it in the glass would break. Since this is the very last step of the installation, I have to uninstall the whole thing, package it back up and return it. At this price point, I wouldn’t expect this kind of defect. I did order another one to replace it.
