Disappointed

This is a review of my experience purchasing this blanket, not a review of the blanket itself. That's because I never received the blanket. I received a blanket that was the wrong color, had a tag identifying is as an entirely different brand, and, judging from the way it was haphazardly rolled into a plastic bag, probably someone else's return. Disappointed and frankly disgusted.

[Rewarded Review] Buy blankets in store

We wanted a light weight blanket to use as an extra for very cold nights. This blanket looked like the answer on line. Upon arrival, we discovered it was way too thin, you could almost see thru it. We promptly returned it to our closest JC Penney store, found a suitable one there and bought it. Moral of the story, don’t buy blankets on line.

Comfortable, soft and warm Madison Park blanket

This is the best all cotton blanket I’ve ever had. I love cotton because I don’t sweat when using it like I do with most other fabrics. It’s soft, warm and washes and dries beautifully without shrinking or wrinkling. I bought a king size for my queen size, deep pocket mattress. The sides hang at the perfect length and the bottom has enough length to tuck it in tightly. I have it on top of a queen sized blanket that isn’t long enough to tuck in so the king sized blanket helps hold it in place. I recommend this blanket to anyone who wants a beautiful quality cotton blanket.

Way too prone to snags and pulls

The blanket looked wonderful at first. Color was good. Nice lightweight cotton blanket and nice size - drapes adequately over the sides even with a thicker mattress. Within 4 days of using it on my bed, it was already full of pulls and snags that I don't even know how they happened. Very disappointed that the weave is such that it gets pulls and snags so easily!

This blanket is very soft. It is rather thin, so it would make a good warm weather blanket or a good blanket for layering with a thicker duvet during colder months. The ivory color is very yellow. It’s more of a buttercream. I’ve added a photo of the blanket against our true white comforter to show how yellow it is. The blanket also snags VERY easily. It came out of the package with several snags already.

Good weight and good value overall

The blanket looks nice, but when I toook it out of the package, I noticed that it has a slight issue with the weaving in one area. It looks like it's getting a slight "run" like you often get with pantyhose. It's not that noticeable, so I'll try to just mend it slightly myself to prevent an actual "run" since don't want to hassle with returning it. I was just hoping that a "luxury" blanket would have consistent, tight weaving throughout.

Soft & warm

I was excited to get this blanket. I love the color. It’s soft and nice and big! It keeps me and the kittens warm but not ridiculously suffocating you warm. My cat Nugget seems to like it the most. He won’t get off it. I know he looks angry and he hates it in the picture but that’s just his RBF 24/7. Hope to try more products like this in the future!

Great for warm summer nights

This blanket is perfect for the warmer summer months! I live in a city that gets high temps consistently above 100F in the summer and the lows at night are still in the 80s. A lightweight blanket is an absolute must, and this one is our new favorite! The breathability is great, the color is beautiful, and it is very soft for the weave and cotton texture. There were a couple of stray strings after washing, but very minimal and they are on the wrong side of the blanket so it doesn’t even show. We have a California King size bed and this is a standard King blanket, so there isn’t a ton of fabric hanging over the edges when it’s made up, but it’s plenty big enough for my partner and I to share. We love it and it has been the perfect summer blanket for us!

Not quite as soft and breathable as I was hoping, but the color is nice!

I never received this order! There is no option on your site to report, customer service agent told me weeks ago it was never shipped. Please ship or issue refund. You could also improve your site!
