Easy Assembly, Great Bed

Everything about this bed was just as it was promised online. Color sample was true to the actual furniture. Assembly was easy and clearly documented in the instructions. It looks great and has solid support. The overall quality is exceptional. Delivery was also as promised and easy.

I just received my Astrid platiform bed in Walnut/Dark Chocolate Maple finish. I'm really pleased with it. The dark stain really brings out the character of the wood and makes the unit feel warm and rich. The dark chocolate adds a little contrast and interest and, for me, makes the whole thing work. I'm placing this in my guest room, where the size will work well. In a large master bedroom, this bed may tend to get lost -- it has a low profile. I went with the free delivery, which means I had to assemble this myself. The assembly was surprisingly easy. If you have long arms like me, you can maneuver the two pieces that make up the platform base, but otherwise you'd want a helper. I'm very pleased.

Bed looks great. Not too difficult to assemble. Creeks a bit when you site on the bed, but I assume that's normal for a wood platform bed.
