Attractive and sturdy faucet. The lever action is solid and easy to operate. The water stream is full and does not splash.
Fine quality fixtures
The Townsend faucet and pop up are of a quality that I haven't seen for years. The heavy metal construction reminds me of the Am Stand from years ago, but updated in modern technology with cartridges instead of washers. The pop up which is usually an afterthought in most lavatory sets is really beautiful and well designed and constructed. Even the box that it came in was heavy duty and well wrapped. It was a pleasure to present it to my customer. She was thrilled.
Great look and faucet
We have been pleased with many of our American Standard Faucets and keep going back to them due to the quality and ease of finding parts when needed. Our only challenge ever was on another one of their products and it was our fault for using the wrong cleaner on them, so I would purchase again without any hesitation

Beware...3 faulty faucets in a row!! Find another model or brand!
First of all, Build.com's customer service has been great through the whole ordeal, so I can't blame them. They've been very helpful! However, we have received 3 defective faucets in a row, all with multiple, different issues, over the course of the last.2 weeks. I'm not sure what the problem is with this particular faucet and the manufacturing process, but the defects span several areas, from functional to cosmetic. Our bathroom remodel fixtures have all been American Standard and the other items have been great. But now I'm stuck trying to find another faucet that goes with everything else, as the LAST step in finishing this remodel.
