It was just as described. cell phone's sat on the shelf are protected by a slightly raised edging. Can put paper on from either direction. Is more black than rubbed bronze though.

Decent holder at this price if you need this color

Works as it should. Installation is a bit awkward, as set screws need to be tightened from below with a very small but sturdy screwdriver. Good value at this price.

paint flakes off plastic bar

The paint flaked off the plastic bar that connects the two braces. Mine chipped near the edge, so even when it’s holding toilet paper, the damage shows.

Do not buy

Looks ok, but whoever decided it would be a good idea to use a hexagon instead of a normal flat head to attach holder to brackets should be fired.

Cheap stuff from China. I ordered a set a few months ago, and it is blemishing already. I purchased again simply because I can't find anything else that matches my polished brass hardware that is currently in the bathroom. When my first set get too discolored and crummy looking. I'll replace it with this set. Hopefully, I will find something else before the second set get crappy. They say "brass". Ha. Zinc base with THIN brass plating on it . Garbage.

ok for the money

be careful of the spacing between brackets. make sure you check for width vs paper roll. the roll holder is a bit long and needs to be compressed for proper distance between the brackets.
