Instructions very unclear

It is very pretty but this is hands down the most complicated piece of furniture I have ever built. It took us hours upon hours because the pieces are not labeled and the pictures are not the most helpful. We had to redo certain steps so many times and it was very frustrating. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it unless you are very patient

Great dresser - worth paying for assembly

Once upon a time, I used to have a basic Ikea dresser. Thinking I could assemble it myself, I put it together (poorly) and it ended up super wobbly until finally purchasing this one. I wanted something around the same price, and something that would stay put if I opened and closed the drawers. This dresser is everything the Ikea dresser was not. Though I was skeptical, it's 100% worth it to pay extra for assembly. This dresser is a great size for smaller bedrooms/apartments, and it's affordable, stylish like West Elm dressers, and solid.

Good dresser

Overall I liked this dresser. However, you do get what you pay for. You will need a hammer and screw driver to assemble. Nothing is labeled, but if you lay out all the parts and separate the nails it’s not difficult following the instructions and identifying the parts you need. There are premade holes on the parts, but I noticed that there is a gap between the top and second drawer once I assembled. So I think these holes needed to be slightly lower. Also, putting together the cabinets was the hardest part. Even though there were premade holes, they were too small for the nails. It ended up cracking when I screwed it in, so I had to make the holes slightly bigger before screwing in the nails for the rest of the cabinet’s. Then, when I hammered on the back part the side also cracked ( 2nd picture). Other than that, I had no other issues when assembling. It’s a good size and it fits my stuff and it looks cute.

Very happy with my purchase

After reading the reviews, I was scared I made a mistake getting this dresser. Delivery was delayed by a few days but when I finally got it I was pleased to see there was no damage. There was just a lot of saw dust covering all the pieces. The assembly was very easy and that’s coming from a small girl that did it all by herself. The pieces aren’t labeled but it’s really not that hard to figure what everything is like people are making it seem, there’s literally 5 pieces of wood and some very distinct screws. It took me less that 2 hours to put it all together. The only part I’m disappointed in is that there is a small gap between the drawer and side of the dresser so you can see the hardware inside. Other than that it’s a pretty good, aesthetic dresser for such a cheap price. Don’t let the other reviews scare you, it was worth the buy.

Very nice dresser - no install labeling

The dresser is very nice and looks exactly as expected. The quality of the wood and the drawers is much better than expected for the price. I would recommend this piece for a dresser in the $250-$400 price range. We use it in our bedroom. 2 issues we had: 1. None of the pieces come labeled. The wood pieces, screws, drawer glides, etc. So you have to look at the pictures in the instructions and figure it out as you go. It wasn't very difficult, so I wouldn't remove more than 1 star for this. Took my wife and I about 45 minutes to put together. 2. One of the drawer handles came stripped incorrectly, so it wouldn't screw in properly. I put a small cardboard shim inside the drawer to fill the space so the handle still worked. Again - for this price range, I would expect one or two issues.Overall, great dresser. I would recommend.

Good value, but read this first.

I debated whether to give this 3 or 4 stars. I rate it a 3.5, here's why, the dresser itself is good value for the money, very much Ikea quality. However, the chances you receive a damaged or dinged dresser seems to be high. I fortunately only had a small ding in the top part of the dresser which isn't really all that noticeable. My husband said it was fairly easy to put together, instructions are clear. The issue though is quality control, they do a poor job ensuring the parts of the dresser are adequate to be shipped. Similar to what someone pointed out earlier, about their pre-drilled holes missing. Ours were there, but not aligned (see pics). We only found out once it was put together and the drawers were crooked. My husband had to disassemble it to make sure it wasn't his error, and it was not. The pre-drilled holes were uneven, so he had to mess with the angles of the screws while being careful not to damage the sides of the interior. All in all, for the price we didn't mind the setbacks. It's for our son's nursery and aesthetically pleasing.
