Beautiful rug but beware of any sort of stain. We have a young dog that unfortunately had an accident. We had it professionally treated and cleaned by Stanley Steemer. No luck, rug is toast. Just by nature of the texture and weave it is difficult to spot treat, whether it’s food or a pet, so something to consider if you have kiddos.
Absolutely beautiful rug and great quality. Just wish it were a tad bigger (not quite 8x10).

We bought this rug a year ago and wears horribly. Loved the rug at first but a year later it is so worn. We only have 2 people in the home who don’t wear shoes in the house and the areas that is walked in looked very very faded to the point it looks grey and no longer navy blue. There are agree where the rug matting has disappeared and you can see the bottom of the rug. I would not purchase again...for the money we paid, this rug should have lasted a lot longer than a year.

My first rug like this was ruined in a flood. I liked it so much I ordered this one just like the first. It is a unique rug, very bright and soft. It is perfect for my grandchildren's play room.
A Cute Alternative
I didn't really think about the description of the rug being made of cotton strips but for a little area rug in front of a bed, it's a cute alternative to a shag. The strips of fabric are not dense so the white backing fabric shows through. It would have made more sense to have the backing fabric be the same color as the rug. I think that if I had shopped around longer, I may have found an area rug that is thicker but I made a quick purchase. The color is really perfect.
