Bru nice bench for money!
We purchased this bench for our bedroom so I could sit and take care of my legs. Over all the bench is very nice and was easy to assemble. I would have given it 5 stars but 2 of the legs had manufacturing defects. I was able to correct them before assembly but one of legs in back is crooked because it is bottom platform hole n threads were not drilled properly.
You can tell it had been returned and repackaged and a piece was broken off one of the legs. Cushion is a little on the firm side. I would return but too much of a hassle.
Still in service after several years. Perfect for my small entry area (ripped out a closet, opened up the area, and put this bench in place). I still like it.
Perfect edition to our closet. We got his and hers which helps in AM to get ready. Storage is helpful to put away non essentials in the closet.
If you want this for looks and storage for a blanket or two-this is your bench, but do not plan on sitting on it! It is so wobbly no matter what you do to tighten or fix it.
It's a handsome piece,excellent option of lift up comfortable cushion top for feet or books and the inside storage, with a nice wooden bottom to store things, without having to lift the top !
The overall design of the bench is great.  However, there seems to be a consistent issue with the pre-drilled holes for assembly. Was able to assemble fully with some parts cracking as noted by other reviewer’s. The bench seems stable but the integrity overtime is questionable.  Not quite sure what to do at this point. To return or to not return Would it actually be worth the effort  Would I end up with the same issue 
The piece was what we were looking for in our front foyer. However, the lid is a bit warped and does not rest completely closed. Overall, it feels rather cheaply made.
This was the perfect piece to fit into my sons room in our house in florida, that also becomes a guest room. He uses the bottom for his shoes and got guests, I fill the inside with extra towels when we have guests. The grey is perfectly light to match all decors.
