Lovely Reliable Functional Faucet

I have used this Dryden faucet in many projects over the last few years and it never disappoints. You can expect Delta’s quality craftsmanship and functionality for years to come. My clients are consistently pleased and in this case, they especially love the polished nickel finish.

I had to replace my 10 yr old Delta Dryden 551 faucet. Delta changed the interface between the faucet and drain. In the older model the drain was controlled by a pull up lever behind the faucet. The newer model no longer has that feature. You have to replace the existing drain with a pop-up drain that is included with the faucet. It was a pain to get the old drain out. It was easy to drop in the new delta drain once I managed to remove the old drain. Other than that I am completely satisfied with the new faucet.

Nice quality

I like the simplicity of this faucet and it feels sturdy too. We purchased it for our first bathroom remodel and liked it so we bought a second for the other bathroom remodel.

dull finish, water spots

This looks good in the box, but the finish shows every drop of water, and it becomes dull and muddy. Delta has a coating that resists water, (lumicoat), but it is only on a few select items. Be careful of what you buy from the Delta company.

Escutchen fit is bad. Drain rubber washer leaked

Well made but installation changes should be made.
