Warning: the silver champagne color is a sparkly metallic silver. The online picture makes it look like a light grey flat paint color. It's actually more like something you would put in your teenager's room if it was a space age theme. I didn't take it out of the box, so I can't attest as to the construction-it felt sturdy and was packaged well. Wayfair is charging me shipping to return it, which I had tried to find the return policy before I bought it, but could not find specifics on website. I've always had great experiences with Wayfair, but I guess it's my fault that I did not call them to specify return policy for this item.

Very nice, assembled. I got it in black. They did not paint the backside black, now I have to, it stands out like a sore thumb. Why would they send a piece for the living room without the backside finished in the same color is beyond me. It is wonderful it was assembled.

Sturdy, pretty color and finish

Nice quality, seems sturdy. I got yellow and it is a pretty color and finish, drawer pulls good quality. I will be using this as a printer stand and keeping paper, ink and other electronic-related items in the drawers, which is why I wanted something more durable than an Ikea piece.

These are perfect in my guest room. I really like the rich color and the drawers are just fine! (Other reviews say they're too small or don't come out far enough but that's not my experience). The only small bummer was a slight nick on one leg. However, given the fast delivery, no hassle with assembly and not waiting weeks from a traditional furniture store, it's worth it. Also an easy fix with furniture marker.

Just perfect! We needed a nightstand for our guest room and this one arrived in PERFECT condition, fully assembled (minus the knobs) and nicely sturdy. Very very pleased with this purchase.

Misleading ad

This ad is incredibly misleading. On the page, it lists the nightstand for $187.50 and says,"Placed in your room or store pickup," as if both were included in the price. When you order it, though, you find that it is an EXTRA $79.95 to have it "placed in your room" with "white glove delivery." Looks like bait-and-switch to me...

Decent for the price. Generally lightweight overall. Mine is a little off balance but it’s going on carpet so I won’t notice. Also, the top is nice and smooth, but the rest of the wood is rough, so cleaning will be hard. Color and design as expected.

If I could, I would give this nightstand 3.5 stars. I bought it to use as a printer stand and for paper storage. It scores points for looking much nicer than what we used to have. But on the storage front, its lacking.

Very Good Quality

We purchased two black Hammond Nightstands online recently. We are very pleased with the quality of the product. They appear to be much more expensive than what we paid for them. They are very sturdy and the drawers slide in and out with ease. They are a nice addition to our guest bedroom.

Fully assembled made hubby happy! Ordered the blue the yellow for an eclectic bonus roomoffice with defined spaces. Absolutely perfect for what I wanted. They were packed nice so no damage and seem pretty sturdy well made for such a great price.
