I'm a candle junkie and burn them all the time when home. My Mom was, too, so I think I "inherited" that trait and it just makes things feel homier when lit. I tried this one around New Year's Day and love the Winter-inspired scents!! I burns clean and right to the bottom of the hourglass jar. I was excited for each layer to hit and continued to be pleasantly surprised by the warm, wintery and crisp scents. This one is an A+ in my books. The crackling wood wicks are almost like having a firepit in your house. I have kitties, so top it with on of Yankee's beautiful candle shades to keep everyone safe! These wood wicks cost a bit more but are so worth it if you're a outdoorsy, walk-in-the-woods type of home!!! You can HEAR the crackling!

WoodWick candles are amazing, the crackling, the trilogy, wow! This candle smells like winter, everything you would want from a winter candle. The only issue is this large jar hourglass, which are the best wood wicks, as they last forever and burn slowly, is the wick is not in the center! resulting in an uneven burn. I wish I noticed in store when I purchased it. Illuma-lids won’t fit on it either, and I don’t want to go replace it.

I really liked this candle. The colors were seasonal, and went well together and with holiday decor. Each fragrance was actually noticeably dufferent. The scents weren't heavy or overpowering, but they were very Christmassy. I liked it so much that I would probably buy it even out of season. It was fresh and clean. And, of course, the crackling was so soothing.

Never bought a wood based wick candle before, different experience than other Yankee candles.

Pretty but no smell

Pretty but no smell. I have bought 6 of these for Christmas presents as the colors are seasonal and I thought that they would have a lovely smell as this is a very good make of candle. I received a broken one in my order, (which was promptly replaced) so I used it, and I am disappointed. Alas, I am still going to give these as presents as I have now bought them.

I love Yankee candles but this is the second time they've messed up my order. I ordered the ellipse and they send me the jar. My last order the website must have gliched because they sent me the whole order twice. Love the candles but I think I'll stick to buying them in the store.
