Minimalism, but make it quirky

There's no way for it to not be quirky with that vibrant pink chair, but every space needs a statement piece, right? I love that the space is mostly modern minimalist, but the playful accents add a bit of personality. Do you feel confident adding unique items to an otherwise minimal space?
