Poorly manufactured, and difficult to put together, due to hole misalignment. Wood seems good quality, but metal base frame had warped, presumably when welded, so needed pounding with a mallet to fit.

Opening the box and seeing all the pieces was a bit daunting, however, it was definitely worth the time spent building it. It's a great piece of furniture for the price. If you have small children I do recommend using the anti-tilt strap provided.

This bookcase looks really nice and took me about 2 hours to put together. It seems to be very sturdy so far (have had it for a few weeks with no wobbling- even with a cat jumping on it). The two drawers on the bottom are a nice touch to store random small items. I am very pleased with this purchase.
