Good Purchase for the Price
Over all, for the price, I'm not disappointed with the purchase. They're tall enough to reach our high kitchen bar; the seat finish is not a dark cherry - more medium toned.The metal of the chairs is great quality and were packaged really well. The seat wood is very soft; packaging on the seats was terrible. All 4 of the seat panels came with small nicks that will need to be sanded and color matched to avoid splinters. The screw holes were not pre-drilled (wood was so soft that almost didn't matter).Eventually I will have a woodworker remake seat panels because I love the look of the metal, and I doubt the existing seats will last as long as the chair rails. That may be something to take into consideration if you don't want the added expense of eventually replacing panels before the metal has lived out its usefulness. Less
Love it
It is the perfect chair for our high top island. The chair is sturdy and the wooden seat is a great accent to the black metal frame. The big plus is that the chair is comfortable. I sit on it for 2-3 hours at a time to do paperwork and am comfortable the entire time.
Very pleased with this product. Very sturdy, the seat is wide for comfort, bar stool height was perfect for my counter, the overall appearance is beautiful.
