We needed new chairs for our kitchen table and I was tired of spending money on chairs that lasted a couple years at most. I'm a little on the 'heavy' side of things, so I'm probably a bit harder on a chair than a normal person and wanted something that was sturdy. My kids are under 6 years old, so I also wanted something that was easy to keep clean. This chair is the perfect blend. It isn't the most fancy thing out there, but it is very sturdy, comfortable and somewhat stylish. The cushions easily wipe clean and the chair itself is surprisingly light - easy for my kids to maneuver. The ad notes that this chair was designed for restaurant use, but could be used in the home and I'd agree. It looks like those chairs you'd see at your favorite chain restaurant - functional and comfortable. I would recommend these chairs to anyone seeking a good, sturdy chair that will give them years of use.
