Media cabinet

It is exactly as pictured once you have someone put it together for you :). It’s well made and looks great under my new big screen 📺. My nephew was able to put it together swiftly by following the enclosed instructions.

DISAPPOINTMENT

Took longer than expected as there were screws missing and my Handyman had to go to three places to find replacements. One of the doors did not fit properly and there was damage to the trim underneath the top of the console.

Looks nice, and lots of storage space, so good there. The fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the predrilled screw holes are crooked, so make it very hard to get a flush screw, which in certain areas can cause issues, such as the cabinet doors are a bit crooked since that pulls the hinge to the side a bit. For the price, I expected a bit better quality, but I do like the look of it and that it is not particle board.

Broken

The piece came in broken. Box was perfect so it wasn’t damaged in transit. The stand was packaged with a cracked/broken piece in the box. Customer service said to put all of the pieces back in the box to ship it back to the warehouse (there’s so many pieces). Instead of just sending us a new piece, we get a refund once UPS picks up the box. THEN we can reorder the product if we want. We literally waited a week for a broken product to arrive and now the price has increased $130 (before tax).

72” tv stand

Fit my odd space perfectly. It’s hard to buy a big ticket item on line, but it worked out for us. Love that’s it solid wood. We put together it easy enough. One problem, one door has a sticky substance on it that is not easy to remove. We thought about calling the company to replace it.

Quality piece EXCEPT…

Love the piece with one exception…the wood on the front of the drawer is so thin that when you tighten the screws that attach it, they pop right through the front. We were able to sort of repair it but it spoils the look of the drawer front.

Customer Service / Product Delay

Unfortunately my first TV stand arrived damaged due to it being dropped during shipping the box was damaged as well. I recommend inspecting your piece as soon as it arrives. Their customer service staff was kind and helpful. But I gave them an 4 star review because it took 3 weeks for them to approve sending me a new one, with a lot of back and forth. Once I got through that I am very happy !! Now that the piece is put together which takes some time, it looks exactly like pictured and I am very happy with it !!

Very good quality and straight forward assembly

Quality materials. Manufacturer included additional “spare” parts, but they were not needed. Assembly instructions some of the best I’ve seen. Finished assembled product met my expectations and is quite sturdy. The only issue I had was with attaching the hinges near the end of the assembly. The hinges required a Phillips screwdriver to attach them, but there was not enough height space for even my smallest screwdriver. Fortunately, I had a Swiss Army knife that I was able to use. The manufacturer needs to either include an offset Phillips head screwdriver to attach the hinges, or have you attach the hinges earlier on in the assembly process.

Simpli Home Redmond

This cabinet is beautiful but the company that made it is not good. I have ordered four of them all of them the top is damaged. And it is not from shipping. All the boxes were perfect. It’s from the company that is the problem. Best Buy has been awesome through this whole ordeal.

Disappointed

This came completely unassembled. For the price, it should have arrived as a whole piece of furniture. Vague assembly instructions. Only upside is it's solid wood but it looks cheap. Very disappointed.

A great product

It is a nice looking TV Consol. We bought a 75 inch TV and it fits just right. The only problem was one door that was somewhat warped. This unit is solid wood and well made but it takes a little bit to put together.

Solid Construction

Solid construction. Instructions make it easy to assemble. Spare parts included. This unit was just what we were looking for and it was several hundred dollars less from Simpli Home website.

Wood cracked - poor quality

This is not worth the money. The quality is cheap, and the top already has a stress fracture after a week with a 65" tv. How do I return when it is assembled? The directions were hard to follow, and holes not all pre-drilled.

A lenghty saga

This is the third unit I have ordered from this company.

Gorgeous TV stand! However, it was not easy to put together. Some of the pieces had holes drilled in the wrong place.

TV Media Stand

The item arrived several day before anticipated. Carton was in good condition, as was the pieces inside. Assembly was easy to follow, and everything fit perfectly. It is a solid-wood cabinet that is attractive and will last a long time.
