Gorgeous, sturdy light!
This light is gorgeous, I love that it's glass and not plastic, it adds so much sophistication. The brass knob is also gorgeous! As other reviews have stated, you do have to do some manual adjusting to get it to be flush with the ceiling, but that was easy enough. It definitely goes with our midcentury modern style.
Subtle and elegant
This was perfect for the hallway. Has an understated elegance to it. Installing all the pieces except the glass covering was pretty straightforward. It took a few minutes of fidgeting to find the groove for the glass casing to fit. Note that you will need a bulb that is not standard.

Great light for the hallway - I actually bought two of these. I like the simplicity of them. I wanted something simple and calm to go with the glitzy/glamorous entry and laundry room lights I also ordered - these for the bill perfectly

I purchased three to update 20 year old fixtures. The look is clean & modern. Installation was fairly simple however, we had to make some adjustments to make sure we had a tight fit on the ceiling.
