NOT waterproof. I bought two of these... they are expensive. Within 1 year of outdoor use (they say they are made for outdoors) both of the light compartments are flooded with rain water. One of them flickers, the other is flat out broken.
Powerful, super quiet and sleek
I was hesitant to buy this fan given it only had 2 reviews when I bought it but I am so glad we pulled the trigger on it because we love it. On high the fan blows so much air our living area got almost too cold. It has a super quiet motor. One thing we couldn't find information on was whether the light is daylight vs warm. Not sure whether you can tell from the pics but it is much closer to day light than it is to warm light. The light has a dimmer function which has great range. On the highest setting our whole living area is very well lit (17 x 15 feet area). I am not an expert on colors but to me it is like an espresso color (description says dark bronze). The pics make it look like it's black but it's not. The remote comes with a clip so you can hang it on a wall for easy access.I installed it with my wife's help in under 2 hours. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I consider myself to be somewhat of a handy man though.Overall love the product and I think it can't be beat for value at this price point. Less

Fanimation Fan - Good Fan - Garbage Remotes
THIS IS A FANIMATION FAN!! The fan itself works well but the remotes are complete garbage. Fanimation fans are notorious for having remotes that are confusing / barely work. If I had known this was a fanimation fan I would have never purchased it. I now see that the word fanimation is in small letters.

Wonderful ceiling fan
This is a Awesome fan and I just love Fanimation. I bright my very first Fanimation 5 years ago. It was the Camview. Sadly they discontinued that model after I got it. That is in my old bedroom at my house. Now I have the Fanimation Xeno damp rated 56 inch in brushed nickel in my bedroom. At the house that me and my family moved into in South Carolina 2 years ago. I also have two Fanimation torch’s in my lower level living room. And I have the Spitfire in my screen in porch.

Great quiet fan.. the white is invisible against a white ceiling which I like. highest speed setting circulates a great amount of air with no noise. Best fan I have ever purchased!
This is an amazing ceiling fan. We have purchased theee. Two in white and one black. We did have to mount the remote control to the wall but inside the closet so it’s not visible. Highly recommend
